We are starting to get things together for safety day and going through some of the issues brought up throughout the season. Landing practice and procedures being one of the biggest. Is there any other questions, issues, concerns, or comments you would like addressed at safety day?

Is packing something that's discussed / refresheshed during safety day?

While we will not be going through all the steps of packing in the meeting, I am sure you will be able to grab an instructor/rigger to walk you through a refresh that day.

Let me know if you would like to try and do a helicopter jump on March 13th after safety day. I need names so
don't leave it until the last minute. Cost will be $60.00 per jump like last year.

You will need to be current to do this. So if you need a refresher jump unfortunately you won't be able to go this time, but don't worry the helicopter will be back during the summer.

As a reminder you must gain currency if you are uncurrent per the SIM 5-2. http://www.uspa.org/SIM/Read/Section5/tabid/168/Default.aspx#970

You can regain your currency with a helicopter jump as long as it meets the requirements set in the SIM (approved by an instructor) If you have questions about this, AFTER reading the section linked above, feel free to ask.

If I can get current on a heli jump then sign me up.  I'm still under the A license regulations unfortunately... damn water training.

I would like to commit to a jump or two. Do we have a time yet for Safety Day?

What does water training have to do with A license requirements? I did my water training last year, but I thought I was getting a head start on my B license???
