This Fri April 24 we are going to do a flat fly skills night. This weeks seminar is about MAINTAINING fall rate after you dock on the formation, The largest formation will be 8 jumpers. If we have more than 8 people, we will break into two groups. Dirt dives will start at 3:30, show up anytime before sunset and we will get you on a load.

Sounds like a great plan - I'm in!!

I'd like to encourage all of the newer and/or rusty from the winter jumpers to attend. We can all learn a lot from Dale, and if anyone's not quite ready for an 8 way we can have a smaller group too.

Will it bleed over into Saturday and Sunday? I've got class and can't get out till Saturday afternoon but I'd like to play on my belly too. Just don't tell my free-fly friends. Don't want em to think I'm defecting. Wink

So... How accurate are the wind forecasts?  It's not looking good for new jumpers on Friday if they're close...

Unfortunately the ones that say it's going to be really windy tend to be right. I'd check again Friday morning though, a lot can change between now and then.

I think we are going to be optimistic that it dies down and we get a few loads at the end of the day.
